**FINGERS CROSSED (FOR EQUALITY + LOVE) BRACELETS**
Hello lovelies. Some of you may have noticed a very cool item now for sale in my online shoppe. I printed up a special edition purple ‘Fingers Crossed’ bracelet which you can purchase for $5, all of which will be donated to the Trevor Project:

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

See, I have this song. It’s called “Fingers Crossed”. Though I originally wrote it about love and relationships and all that, it’s mostly about figuring shit out. It’s about wanting to be okay. I’m about to get very cheesy right here… but I used to wear one of these bracelets to remind myself that everything would get better and the future was bright. The only reason I don’t wear one now is because I’ve been told that I shouldn’t wear my own song on my own body (which is true).
Anyway, I recently made a video for the It Gets Better project, and since then have been trying to figure out how I could do a little more to raise awareness. So! If you would like to help me on my quest to help out, consider buying a bracelet. For $5 you get one purple bracelet, for $8 you can get two bracelets, with more options for colors. Either way, 100% of your dollars will be put towards preventing LGBTQ teen suicide and spreading love.

TL;DR = I’m selling bracelets to raise money to help prevent teen LGBTQ suicide, buy one here or go ahead and buy two. Spread the word!

I’m gonna have to get one to go with my black bracelet =)

Nonplussed

I'm Ashley. I support positive reinforcemnt for change.

Here are things that leave me nonplussed.

I am the admin for The Hogwarts Gay/Straight Alliance

I live by my own rules. I was born by the sea. I was raised in rural America. I was made a tragedy in the tropics. Today, I'm doing things the way they should be, northwest style!

I'm very much a young woman. Not a girl. A musician. A songwriter. Pizza enthusiast. I'm nothing without a good laugh , but life can be very serious, so I'm humored accordingly.

There are many things in the media, music, movies, and books that I enjoy. Just because I don't speak of them often does not mean I like them in the least. I'm very much a fangirl in my soul, but if I over do everything, it feels like a chore, and it should never be that way.
